Topic: Have your say: Home Care in the LGBTQ+ Community
Date: Tuesday 16th October, 2025
Time: 11am - 1pm
Where: Via Zoom
About this session
Join us to take part in a friendly guided workshop, where we will try to write a short affirming letter to our older selves. We will look at our lives from 50 years and older.
Get your pens, pencils, feltips and paper (or electronic devices) ready - you will have a chance to write freely without worrying about grammar or structure. (There is no pressure to share what you have written with others but I will create space for you to do so, if you wish to.)
'Letters to our older selves' - These letters often encourage reassurance and hope for the future you want - qualities like self-care, the ability to embrace failure, confidence in one's unique path, and the understanding that life's challenges shape and strengthen them. They can serve as a powerful act of self-reflection, allowing individuals to acknowledge the near future and finding inner peace, strength and wisdom for the future.
