Description

New LGBTQ collections are coming in to LMA and this week's history club introduces one of them. Clarence Allen worked at the Black Lesbian and Gay Centre Project (BLGCP), Tottenham, which became the Black Lesbian and Gay Centre (BLGC), Arch 196, 230 Bellenden Road, Peckham Clarence Allen was also a founder of Big Up, the first UK-based sexual health organisations for BMWHSWM; records of each are included

The collection includes correspondence, printed material, photographs and four videos - relating to Black Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community (BLGBTQ) including sexual health, clubs and events and the arts. 1991-2008.

Please note that some of this material is sexually explicit.
