LGBTQ+ History Month Creative Workshop
Date and time
A creative workshop where you can create a submission to a zine about what it's like to be LGBTQ+ in Cambridgeshire.
About this event
Come along to this creative workshop and add your story to the LGBTQ+ history of Cambridgeshire.
Cambridge Central Library, The Kite Trust and Encompass Network are creating a zine for LGBTQ+ History Month about the experiences of LGBTQ+ people in Cambridgeshire to be kept in our Local History collection.
At this event we will be displaying submissions received so far and providing the opportunity to work on new submissions.
If you wish to contribute some art or writing before the workshop, please email your piece to historymonth@encompassnetwork.org.uk.
Accessibility: There is wheelchair access. There is padded seating, an accessible toilet, a designated quiet space, general car parking and blue badge parking in the Grand Arcade car park accessed by the lift next to the Library. There is a hearing loop by request in advance. This isn't a gender neutral toilet, or a bsl interpreter. You can contact us about access on Libraries.ReferralCentre-@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
