As part of the "Dive In" season at St Margaret's House, I'm excited to offer this LGBTQIA+ lino-printing workshop at The Create Place in Bethnal Green.
Over the two hours we have together, I'll take you through the lino-printing process from start to finish. We'll begin with a few warm-up drawing skills, leading into some linocutting techniques and a demonstration on how to transfer your design onto a lino-block. During the second part of the workshop, you'll learn how to carve your design and finally how to make a print!
This session will be open for up to 12 people, thus providing a friendly atmosphere, where guidance and support can take place.
Prices are on a pay what you can scale and will include all resources, plus you'll get to take your print and lino block home!
I'm really looking forward to bringing a group of queer people together to learn a new creative skill.
If you have access requirements you would like me to know about before the workshop, please email Gemma by March 30th at wildwaterartstore@gmail.com.
