LGBTQIA+ and autism (for professionals)
Research has identified the diversity of sexuality and gender identities among young people with autism. This workshop, designed for professionals, will help you to:
- Understand preferred language around among autistic and LGBTQIA+ communities.
- Learn what autistic LGBTQIA+ children and young people find most helpful from their families and wider communities.
- Learn how to communicate acceptance and provide support for gender and sexuality diversity.
- Learn about local, national and international resources and research that can support you.
