Event description

Description

Cities across the globe are becoming smarter - in their use of data, in their use of new technologies. How is local government in the UK approaching the Smart City agenda? How do we make sure that Smarter Cities are also fairer, cleaner and healthier for the people that live in them?

This event is an opportunity for officers at LGiU member councils to share what they’re working on, and hear about others’ strategies.

Lunch will be provided.

Our Policy Café events are a series of short, informal member networking events built around the burning questions we – and our members – are asking. Events are planned up and down the country as part of our commitment to supporting our member councils. We aim to help officers in policy, strategy and related roles share thinking and build local networks.
