Event description
Join us for a member-led Q&A with experts in WES/WGS from the Sanger Institute.

About this event

Dr Manuela Tan and Dr Emma Meaburn will lead a Q&A session with Dr Hilary Martin and Dr Aleksejs Sazonovs from the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

Come along if you've always had questions about Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), or if you always wondered what sorts of questions you should be asking.

We will cover a range of theoretical and practical topics including conception and interpretation of WES/WGS studies for rare and common disorders, why you might choose WES over WGS, and common pitfalls and mistakes in analyses.

While Drs Meaburn and Tan will have questions prepared, there will be time for open discussion and additional member questions.
