About this event

The Speaker

Martins Zaumanis is a 36-year-old asphalt researcher at Empa with an h-index of 20. He is an expert on scientific communication, TEDx presenter and author of the book Write an impactful research paper.

Abstract

Martins will debug some of the most pressing scientific writing myths and show a four-step approach for efficiently writing impactful research papers called LEAP. He has also promised a bonus for those who will survive until the end of the presentation.

Organisation

The talk will be held on-site at Eawag but will also be transmitted online. You have chosen to attend in person at Eawag. Please arrive ca. 15 min earlier (Covid certificate check, see below). A reminder will be sent to you 1-2 days prior to the event.

On-Site Protection Concept (Covid)

All participants must be 3G-external compliant. 3G compliance requires a valid Covid certificate. This also includes members of Eawag and Empa. The certificate and a valid ID must be presented.
