Libraries Digital Bootcamp

We are delighted to invite you to an afternoon run by Libraries Connected and Marion Tessier from Kingston Libraries and delivered by library services across the country. Join us for the whole afternoon or drop in and out of sessions as you choose. The Bootcamp will offer you the opportunity to learn new techniques and skills, find out how other library services have delivered online activity and have a lot of new ideas to take away.

The Programme:

2.00pm - 2.10pm (10 minutes) Introduction

2.10pm - 2.30pm (20 minutes) Setting up and running a podcast with Essex Library Services

2.30pm - 3.00pm (30 minutes - 2x15 min) How to build and create an Online Escape Room - a joint session with Kingston Upon Thames Libraries and North Yorkshire County Council Libraries

3.00pm - 3.30pm (30 minutes - 2x15 min) Minecraft in Libraries - a joint session with Worcestershire County Council Libraries and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Libraries

3.30pm - 4.00pm (30 minutes) Filming and Editing Videos with North Somerset Libraries

4.00pm - 4.20pm (20 minutes) Creating Craft Videos for YouTube with BCP Council Libraries

4.20pm - 4.50pm (30 minutes) TechMates – Harnessing the power of community and a different approach to digital support with Wigan Libraries

4.50pm-5.00pm (10 minutes) Conclusion & next steps
