Libraries V.I.P. - Very Inspiring Places?

This event is suitable for anyone working with children and books in a public, school or other library / resource centre environment.
Enjoy a panel discussion about how libraries are 'Very Inspiring Places' with local authors Gabrielle Kent and Chris Callaghan, librarians, a bookseller and Culture Bridge representatives. Then, YOU choose the agenda - A fun and practical opportunity to discuss your thoughts about children's libraries, books and reading. Come along and explore solutions, be inspired and motivate colleagues from around the region, in a supportive environment.
Lots of cake and a Free Goody bag for everyone who attends!
Wallsend Customer First Centre is located in the centre of Wallsend, (at the Station Road entrance of The Forum Shopping Centre) and is easily accessible from the centre of Newcastle by public transport.
Access - The building is accessed via electric doors and stairs, escalator or lift to the library on the first floor and exited via stairs or lift.
There is parking at Elton Street West Car Park and on street parking on David street / John Street which is free. (ensure you check street signs when parking as parts of Wallsend are permit holders only or metered parking) N.B. Please do not park in the car park behind the Library as this is strictly limited to 3 hours only.
Metro - Disembark at Wallsend Metro Station and it's approx a 5 minute walk up Station Road to the Customer First Centre.
