Event description

Description

Inspire is delighted to be working with Leicester Print Workshop and artist Sue Rowland to give you the opportunity to create a printed artwork that will be part of an exhibition touring library galleries from March 2017. Come and learn printmaking techniques with a professional print artist and add your ideas for a "Hucknall" landscape Myriorama tile.

Myriorama is a picture made up of a number of different parts that can be rearranged to make lots of different scenes.

The Hucknall workshops run over half term on, Saturday 11, Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 February. Workshop times 13.15 to 15.15.

During this mini course you will work with Sue to:

-develop ideas for the Hucknall myriorama image based on local studies information and ideas from the group.

-Learn how to lino print and print your own practice image

-Contribute to the final artwork for Hucknall that will go on to be part of the touring exhibition.

Booking Essential.
