Description

Inspire is delighted to be working with Leicester Print Workshopand artist Sue Rowlandto give you the opportunity to create a printed artwork that will be part of an exhibition touring library galleries from March 2017. Come and learn printmaking techniques with a professional print artist and add your ideas for a "Newark" landscape Myriorama tile.

Myriorama is a picture made up of a number of different parts that can be rearranged to make lots of different scenes.

The Newark workshops run over 3 weeks, Saturday 7, 14 and 21 January. Workshop times 13.30 to 15.30.


During this mini course you will work with Sue to:

-develop ideas for the Newark myriorama image based on local studies information and ideas from the group.

-Learn how to lino print and print your own practice image

-Contribute to the final artwork for Newark that will go on to be part of the touring exhibition.
