‘Licence to Ceilidh’ live at Devonshire Square

On Thursday 26th May, from 5pm to 7pm, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Devonshire Square will be hosting in its historical Western Courtyard a FREE-to-attend 2-hour engaging music performance by sensational award-winning ceilidh band ‘Licence to Ceilidh’!

‘Licence to Ceilidh’ have been featured on a range of TV productions broadcasted by various channels including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, UKTV and many more.

Their unique sound mixes traditional ceilidh tunes and dances with a modern fun rhythm section providing the inclusiveness of a Scottish ceilidh with music no one can resist dancing to!

Their expert dance Caller will be teaching all the moves to the audience and their Ceilidhs are suitable for complete beginners and seasoned dancers alike!

Attendees will be treated to a complimentary tasting experience of festive canapés by Devonshire Square’s iconic Indian restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen and a glass of fruity summer Pimms created for the occasion by Devonshire Terrace’s mixologist artists.
