Event description

Description

The City of London is mainly associated with banks and finance. However, in the old days it was also the home of the printed word. From Fleet Street, the former newspaper hub of London, to Paternoster Square, where stationery had its beginnings. From the most famous diarist to the greatest playwright of all time. From Wynkyn de Worde to Rupert Murdoch...Along the way you can also say hello to a cat named Hodge and you'll hear about a parrot named Polly.

This walk lasts around 2 hours, along the way you will find out about everything that has to do with words and writing.

Our walk starts at Temple Station and ends at Paternoster Square, just behind the famous St. Paul's Cathedral.
