The Leeds Institute for Data Analytics is pleased to confirm the next instalment of our seminar series showcasing data analytics titled: Acute and chronic childhood conditions; short-term and long-term outcomes.
For this seminar we welcome Dr Roger Parslow who is a senior lecturer in Epidemiology at the University of Leeds. His talk will focus on PICANet- national audit and research data in paediatric intensive care. We also welcome Mrs Trina Evans Cheung, an information analyst at The Health and Social Care Information Centre, who will be discussing mortality in patients from the Yorkshire Register of diabetes in children and young adults.
Our main speaker is Dr Lorna Fraser, senior lecturer from the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. Dr Fraser's background is in clinical paediatrics and she will be discussing children with life-limiting conditions and the use of routine data.
Following the seminar there will be a networking reception with drinks and nibbles.
