LIFE AS A COTSWOLD SHEPHERDESS: an interview with Sue Andrews
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for a special interview with Sue Andrews, sheep farmer and author in the Cotswolds.
Sue is the energetic author behind bestselling farming memoir If Clouds Were Sheep and its newly released sequel Jumping Over Clouds. Sue will be sharing some of the unexpected stories that have inspired her to write her latest captivating tale, and how a dream grew from small beginnings to breeding internationally renowned Texel sheep in the Cotswolds.
Jumping Over Clouds is the story of a young mum and shepherdess who is working hard to make ends meet while she and husband Aubrey raise two small children on their busy farm in the Cotswolds. They have a growing reputation for breeding pedigree Texel sheep, but Sue also has a dream of her own ... She longs to breed and produce sports horses.
Humorous and beautifully captivating, Sue will be sharing the true story of family life on a farm. She'll be reading an extract from her book and there will be time for her to answer your questions.
This event will be hosted by Lorna Gray, editor at Crumps Barn Studio. This is the final of five special online events marking the First Crumps Barn Studio mini online Christmas Literary Festival.
Both If Clouds were Sheep and Jumping Over Clouds are out now and available from your usual bookseller.
