Anyone with an interest in drawing a life model, illustration, and narrative themed drawing.

Question 2

Is the class tutored?

We will be directing the model with suitable poses and will briefly discuss some pointers at the start and between drawings, but there will not be a teacher offering individual feedback while you draw.

Question 3

What is provided?

We can provide drawing boards and easels to draw on, as well as having tables and seated options. We can also provide basic cartridge paper. Please bring any specialist papers or drawing materials you wish to use.

Question 4

What types of poses will there be during the session?

We plan to provide a mixture of timed poses, from 1 to 20 minutes with a focus on quick gesture drawings. There will be a short break in the middle of the session.

What is the accessibility like?

The session will be in the large hall at Bunyan Meeting, which is up a flight of stairs which has a stair lift. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer.

Is there parking available?

Accepted Answer

There is no parking at the Bunyan Meeting but there is multi-storey parking in nearby Lurke Street car park, as well as on-street parking on residential streets such as Newnham Road, Castle Road and the Embankment after 6pm. Please check signage before you park, some roads may be permit only.
