Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything?

We provide basic drawing materials, including paper, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. However, you're very welcome to bring your own supplies if you have preferred tools or a specific medium you'd like to use.

Can I come late or leave early?

You’re welcome to quietly join or leave at any point, though we recommend arriving by 6:10pm so you don’t miss the start of the session.

I’m neurodivergent or have sensory needs — is this session suitable?

We aim to create a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Music will play during the session, but you’re welcome to bring earplugs or headphones. If there’s anything else we can do to support you, let us know in advance.

Can I come with a friend or carer?

Yes! Carers attend free — just select a Carer Ticket when booking. Friends are always welcome to attend and draw too.

How do the ticket tiers work?

All tickets give the same experience. We offer a Pay-What-You-Can system with subsidised, standard, and supporter options — higher tiers help fund places for those who need a lower cost.

Can I take photos of the model or my work?

Photography of the model is not allowed to respect their privacy. You’re welcome to photograph your own work, but please wait until after the session or during a break.

Will there be nudity?

Yes — this is a life drawing session with a nude model. We ask everyone to be respectful and mindful throughout. The model may also wear clothing at their discretion.

Do I need any drawing experience?

Not at all! The session is open to everyone — from total beginners to practicing artists. It's a relaxed, supportive space to try something new or hone your skills.
