Join us for a free life drawing masterclass led by Henry Gibbons Guy of the Royal Drawing School.

The masterclasses - part of this year's Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize dynamic events programme - will take place at the Mall Galleries, London, on Thursday 8 and Thursday 15 March. Drawing boards and all materials, generously supplied by Pegasus Art, will be provided free of cost.

Open to all, whatever your level of expertise, these masterclasses offer an opportunity to develop new skills as well as hone existing techniques.

Henry Gibbons Guy, alumnus of the Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School, teaches at both the Royal Drawing School and Central St Martins. For Henry, '...drawings are a way to meet many needs: to hold on to something I might lose, to comprehend an unfamiliar motif, to clarify a dialogue within my painting. More often than not the act of drawing is inspirational, usually full of urgency.'

The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize, which aims to showcase the very best creative representational painting and drawing, is on display at the Mall Galleries, London, from 5 - 17 March. The exhibition is open daily, 10am - 5pm and admission is free.
