Description

A day to explore how a wide range of projects use the soil to benefit individuals and communities. If you have an interest in this, and how different organisations are working with the land, come along.

Delegates will;

  • Hear success stories from UK and Europe;
  • Participate in practical activities;
  • Take part in a guided tour of Garden Organic’s horticultural therapy garden;
  • Learn more about ‘Life From Soil’, the guidebook produced and other projects involved;
  • Find out how to evaluate projects and understand the social, environmental and conomic benefits;
  • Share your experiences with peers and colleagues.

This event is free to attend, lunch & refreshments will be provided. Some financial support is available for people travelling to attend from European countries, outside of the UK. Please contact us for more information.
