Event description

Description

What is the Holocaust?

Why is it relevant today?

and How can we move on from a time of genocide?

These are topics we will be discussing on Monday the 27th of March.

Our group of LFA (lessons from Auschwitz) students will be putting on an evening of education about what can be learnt from past human atrocities.

We will be delighted to welcome special guests:
-Amra Mujkanovic (Bosnia genocide survivor)
- and the Aberdeen University Law Project who will be giving a talk on the relevance of the issue in the modern world.

(Amra will also be holding a question and answer session)

Our group will be focussing on the lessons we have learned from our experience visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps. There will also be plenty of entertainment and refreshments on the night.
