‘Life in Submarines in the 1970’s’

A talk by Peter Mannering which will cover experiences onboard three types of submarine, diesel and nuclear powered, during the Cold War.
Submarines provide the qualities of stealth, endurance and flexibility; characteristics which afford them an unparalleled freedom to operate worldwide. This will be an interesting talk with powerpoint display followed by question time .
Light refreshments will be available to you but feel free to bring your own tipple. Parking at the rear of the building down the lane between the building and the school playing field.
