Where is this event taking place? And why is the meet up point listed and not the actual venue?

This event is happening in an awesome venue  in the Richmond  area in SW London. The exact venue will be disclosed on the day to attendees who show up at the meet up point as this is how this group's events are run. This is to create a sense of mystery/anticipation for all who attend.

What is included and not included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

The price per person to RSVP is for the attendance of the event and does not include food, drinks, or any other extras. These will need to be paid directly to the venue by each attendee. (This event is being run as a walk- in event. Connected Exclusive Events has no affiliation to the venue)

What do I need to  bring on the day of the event?

Please bring your ticket for the event .

Question 4

Will there be an even mix of men and women at this event?

Accepted Answer

No guarantees can be given that there will be an even mix of men and women. Connected Exclusive Events has no control over who RSVPs and shows up on the day. In rare cases where the RSVP rates are too low to run the event, the event will be rescheduled, and attendees notified of the new date.

Can I bring someone else/a friend with me?

Yes of course! For September only,  you can bring a plus one for free  to any social mixer, this event is included. So whether  you choose to bring a friend or come alone just add 1 when you RSVP!

Question 6

What is the dress code for this event?

Accepted Answer

Smart Casual. Feel free to come in whatever makes you feel comfortable, however please do make an effort.(e.g. So no hoodies, tracksuits, sliders trainers etc.. )

How do I find the group on the day?

Accepted Answer

The host will be at the designated meet up location(see photo) with a pink or orange lanyard/card. Attendees will get an email after RSVPs  close with last minute details like phone number etc..Ensure you arrive no later than 10 mins after event start time  as you will not be able to join in after.

Question 8

If I show up late and miss the Meet and Greet can I call the host/organizer to join late?

Accepted Answer

No. The mobile phone will be switched on only during the Meet and Greet and will be switched off after 16:10 after the event starts and the group moves towards the venue.Please ensure you either arrive on time or contact the host during this time, as refunds will not be given should this not happen.

Question 9

I found this event last minute and want to attend but RSVPs are closed. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Just join the group at the meet up point  at the start time( no later than 10 minutes after start time) and make sure you bring exact cash payment to pay  on the day.  Cash payment on the day is £17pp for this event (subject to availability on the day).

Who will be running this event?

Accepted Answer

This event is being run by the host/organizer of Connected Exclusive Events, Lou who is a Mastery Facilitator and passionate about  connecting people. You can read more about Lou/Connected Exclusive Events  in the About section.

Question 11

What happens if the event cannot be run  due to unforeseen circumstances?

Accepted Answer

If for unforeseen circumstance there is a need to either reschedule or cancel or cancel the event, all  attendees will be notified by email. If attendees cannot attend the rescheduled event they can choose to attend another event of their choice (same price). Only cancelled events are refunded.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are not given under any circumstance, unless the event needs to be cancelled completely. Refunds are not given for no shows, late arrivals,if  you're not happy with the event, who and how many people showed up or if the events needs to be rescheduled due to cancellations or low RSVP numbers.

Question 13

I have RSVPd, but something  last minute has come up  and  I cannot attend, what do I do?

Please let the host know as this means a better experience can be curated for those that do turn up on the day. If you're not sure of your availability please RSVP  nearer the time before RSVPs close, or  attend as a cash on the day attendee, and just pay on the day(subject to availability).

Question 14

What happens if I am not happy with the amount of people that have shown up on the day?

Accepted Answer

An event is only run if enough people RSVP on here. There are those that will RSVP and not show up on the day: this is beyond the organizer's control. Refunds will not be issued if attendees are not happy with the amount of people who show up on the day(whether that is too few or too many people).

Is there parking available and easy access to public transport to the event location?
