Join Aire Rivers Trust for a riverfly monitoring taster session as part of our LNER-funded Life in the Leeds Becks Project.
The evening will introduce the volunteer-based riverfly counting method that uses eight groups of river bugs to assess the effects of pollution within a river.
Participants will take part in supervised practical, in river, sample collection and the counting process needed to assess river health.
