Kemp Town resident Alistair Hignell will describe his roller-coaster life from peaks of playing rugby for England, to troughs of incurable Multiple Sclerosis, along the way gaining recognition by BBC Sports Personality and a CBE for services to sport and charity.
Tickets £12 to include a light supper. Gallery ticket for talk only: £7. A cash bar will be available to buy soft drinks and wine.
Doors open 7.00 pm: Talk at 7.30 pm
Disabled access by ramp and manual doors. Accessible WC (by lift)

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking in the immediate area is metered and in very high demand; however spaces can be found at the hospital car park (paid) and also free of charge at Brighton Marina multi-storey (4-hour maximum stay) which is on the number 7 bus route or a 15-minute walk away.
By train to Brighton, pick up the number 7 bus in front of the station towards Brighton Marina, alighting at Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Also the number 1 bus which passes from Portslade through the centre of Hove and Brighton towards Whitehawk. Similarly, alight this service at Royal Sussex County Hospital.
