This is your chance to shape the development of important new training content, as well as helping ensure training delivery meets the needs of your and other local business.
Attendees will also gain insights into the future direction of the industry see first-hand the fantastic facilities on offer at Warrington and Vale Royal College. The sector has a huge role to play in revitalising our economy and the profile of the industry has never been higher. Life sciences is among the eight key areas identified by the government as crucial in driving economic growth and ministers are due to deliver a sector-specific strategy in the coming months.
The recent Futures Group report – Life Science 2025: Developing the Skills for Future Growth – highlighted the north west as an important region for the sector, with more people employed in life sciences than anywhere else outside the London and south east/east of England areas. It's crucial we understand the skills gaps employers are facing to do this as effectively as possible to help deliver the highly skilled life sciences workforce employers need.
