In this online roundtable and Q&A session, we will discuss the challenges that life sciences companies face in the current market, including in particular around employment, commercial and investment challenges. We also discuss market and financing opportunities including the UK Government's new Future Fund for scale-ups in the life sciences sector.

This session will be run by Programme partners Josef Fuss, Colin McCall and Roxane Davey from Taylor Wessing.

About the Speakers:

Josef Fuss: Josef is partner in the Corporate Technology team. He specialises in advising clients on venture capital, M&A, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Josef guides investors, companies, and management teams through a broad range of corporate, commercial and financial matters. He regularly works with clients in the Life Sciences and healthcare sectors.

Colin McCall: Colin is a partner in the Life Sciences team. He advises clients throughout their lifecycle (all the way from start-up/spin-out to multinational listed companies) on the commercialisation of their intellectual property rights. In particular, advising on licensing deals, collaborations and R&D projects, distribution and manufacturing and the IP, commercial and regulatory aspects of M&A, VC investments and IPOs.

Roxane Davey: Roxane is a senior associate in the Employment, Pensions & Mobility group. She advises US and UK clients across numerous sectors on the broad range of employment law issues. This includes drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, redundancies, settlement agreements and litigating employment disputes.
