Life with Full Attention

Eight week practical course in mindfulness on Tuesday evenings 7.15-9.45pm, starting Tuesday 4th September.

Mindfulness is about living fully and vividly, without rumination or distraction. A systematic approach to mindfulness and authentic happiness, starting with applying mindfulness in everyday life and culminating in mindfulness of the nature of reality. The book Life with Full Attention by Maitreyabandhu will be our guide to daily practice, and a free copy of the book will be given to you at the start of the course.

This course is suitable for newcomers and more experienced meditators.

Concessions and Bursaries

To ensure our course are accessible to all, concessions are available to those not in full-time employment and on low incomes. For those who still cannot afford the concession rate, bursaries may be available in some circumstances. We would be happy to explore this with you if you live locally in South London and are not otherwise able to afford to attend the course. Contact us for bursary options.


Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at anytime. Up until 48 hours before the start of the course a full refund will be provided. When courses are fully booked, due to the limited capacity of our courses, cancellations after this time will only be refunded if a replacement from the waiting list is confirmed prior to the start of the course. We therefore encourage you to let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, as this will allow someone else to use your space and increase the chances of us providing you with a full refund.


Venue

Owing to a steep flight of stairs at The Brixton Pound Cafe, unfortunately this venue is not easily accessible for those with mobility issues and is not wheelchair friendly. For advice on finding Buddhist activities in London with accessable spaces, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

If you would like to arrive early for a drink or something to eat before the start of the course, our venue, the Brixton Pound Cafe, is a community run ‘pay-as-you-feel’ cafe. Normal opening times, Mon-Fri: 8.30am - 6.30pm, Sat: 9am - 6pm.
