Life without the wolf
Event Information
Description
Join researchers from the University of St Andrews for an afternoon of talks exploring the latest research into endangered and threatened species, followed by a final presentation from renowned BBC wildlife cameraman Doug Allan (to be held in Younger Hall, a short walk from the Byre Theatre, at 5.30pm).
In addition to talks, a variety of hands-on outreach activities suitable for all ages will take place during the afternoon.
The afternoon of talks and activities is free of charge, but we would be grateful if you could register for a ticket in order to give us an idea of numbers.
After the activities, a performance of Prokofiev’s much-loved work for children Peter and the Wolf will be given in Younger Hall in celebration of the Heisenberg Ensemble’s 30th anniversary. Tickets for this evening concert performance are available separately from the Byre Theatre box office (£10 for adults, £5 children/students).
