LIFEbeat is Somerset’s chosen provider for the current Somerset PSHE teacher training programme. This 3-day workshop forms part of The Somerset Wellbeing Framework launched by Public Health as a local model for developing a whole school approach to wellbeing and mental health.
This three-day course will provide participants with:
- A comprehensive overview of the PSHE curriculum and the confidence to deliver PSHE lessons
- A series of practical activities to use in the classroom for all key stages
- An overview of approaches to Relationships Education
- A strategy for a whole school approach to PSHE and wellbeing for pupils and staff
- Tools for self-care

This training is exclusively open to Primary, Middle and Secondary schools in West Somerset. Delegates must attend all 3 dates.
There will be no charge made for Somerset teaching staff attending these training events. However, please note that cancellation within 10 days of the course or non-attendance for whatever reason will result in your organisation being invoiced a fee of £50.
