From Friday 30th September until Sunday 2nd October people from up and down the country will be gathering at Ashburnham place for Lifecentre Networks first annual conference.
The conference is aimed at people who have a passion to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Whether you have a vision to start something in the future or are already delivering a service within your community, this weekend will equip you for the next steps of your journey and connect you to others who share your passion.
Ashburnham place is set in 220 acres of stunning grounds and gardens with three lakes and an abundance of nature. It's the perfect place for a weekend of training and equipping in the context of an empowered community of likeminded people.
Lead by two professional coaches you will be walked through exercises that will refine your visions and resource you for the next steps of your journey.
Be inspired and learn from people supporting survivors within their community. Hear about the challenges they have faced and their biggest learnings so far. This is a rare chance to hear the golden nuggets of wisdom from people who are walking the walk.
Professional training sessions lead by counsellors with years of experience working with survivors. These intensive sessions aim to up skill you in your engagements with survivors and refine your working practice.
Lead by experinaced members of the lifecentre team, these micro seminars cover all the behind the scenes necessities when delivering a professional service for survivors. There will be time for all your questions to be answered and even some one to one consultancy slots avaiable.

What does the ticket price include?
Ticket price includes accommodation at the venue for Friday and Saturday night, all training and contents of event programme, breakfast, lunch, dinner and all refreshments during breaks.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Each room has two single beds and an ensuite bathroom. You will be sharing with a person of your preference (please email email@example.com with your preference asap) or you will be allocated a room share upon arrival. We might be able to accommodate single room requests (please contact Hayley with these requests) however they may incur additional charges.
I cant afford the ticket price but really want to come. Are bursaries or discounts available?
We don't want money to be a barrier to anyone attending the event. We are able to offer discounts to those who want to attend and we have a small number of bursaries available. Please contact Hayley (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more details.
Why are the ticket prices what they are?
We wanted to find the right venue that balanced affordability with comfort and access. Ashburnham was the best we could find. This event stands to make no profit.
Can you cater for food allergies?
Please contact the organiser email@example.com as soon as possible and make her aware of any food allergies that you may have.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available at Ashburnham Place
From South East London and the Dartford Tunnel.
Take the A21 through Pembury, Lamberhurst and Robertsbridge. At John's Cross turn right on to the A2100 signposted to Battle. On the outskirts of Battle, at the roundabout, turn right on to the A271 signposted Bexhill. The entrance to Ashburnham Place is on the right, about four miles from Battle, 200 yards after a very sharp bend.
From South West London and Heathrow Airport
Take the M25 anti-clockwise to Junction 6 and then take the A22 through Godstone, East Grinstead, Forest Row and down to Horsebridge (the Boship Hotel roundabout). Take the second exit on to the A271. Continue through Magham Down, Herstmonceux and Windmill Hill to Boreham Street. After leaving Boreham Street the A271 turns left, signposted Battle. After about 2 miles you will see Ashburnham Place on the left hand side at the brow of the hill.
There is usually at least an hourly service from Charing Cross and Waterloo East to Battle via Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. Battle Station is about 5 miles from Ashburnham Place. Taxis are available outside the station. There is also an hourly service from Victoria to Bexhill via Clapham Junction, East Croydon, Gatwick and Eastbourne. Bexhill Station is about 7 miles from Ashburnham Place. Taxis are available outside the station.
Guests wishing to use taxis from the station are recommended to book in advance, particularly on Sundays.
