Organiser LifeLab

Organiser of LifeLab Medicine Summer School

LifeLab is a  a science education intervention designed to change young people’s attitudes and behaviour towards their own health, and the health of their future children, through hands-on, science-oriented teaching packages. LifeLab is a partnership between the University of Southampton and the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, and is based from a unique ‘hospital classroom’ in the middle of Southampton General Hospital.

At LifeLab we run a variety of events online and at the University Hospital Southampton. They are aimed to educate young people on topics such as COVID-19, diet and lifestyle and studying medicine. Our programmes are also tailored across key stages and inclusive of special educational needs and settings.
