Lifesavers is a project which aims to unite healthcare professionals in teaching essential life saving skills in mosques around the world.
About this event
The British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) Lifesavers programme follows the BHF Heart start programme teaching:
- CPR
- Recovery Position
- Management of choking
Each of these skills are taught in a three-step method:
- A thorough explanation of the theory at the beginning,
- A practical demonstration,
- A chance for participants to practice and perfect their technique
Taught by BLS certified healthcare professional and students. Certificates will be provided on completion!
Taking place at Finsbury Park Mosque on the 25th of September after Dhuhr prayer.
