Event description

Description

LifeSavers is a primary school programme that champions the need for a practical, holistic approach to financial education; one that involves the whole school and wider community too.

Join us at our FREE teacher training event in Central London on Tuesday 28 November to find out more about how your school could benefit from our values-based approach to financial education.

The training will be delivered by one of our highly experienced financial education consultants and will help your school to:

  • Develop your pupils' social and moral thinking around money
  • Integrate a whole school approach to financial education
  • Discover the benefits of practical and experiential money learning
  • Consider a whole community approach to saving and money management

Each school that attends will receive two free LifeSavers resources: a set of our classroom resources, The 5 Big Questions About Money, and a copy of our collective worship/assembly materials, Values for LifeSavers.

You will also have the opportunity to share experiences and good practice with teachers from across the region.

To find out more about the LifeSavers programme, visit www.lifesavers.org.uk.

Please note that LifeSavers is designed for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teachers and pupils. If you are interested in financial education support for Key Stage 3 and above, please visit: www.young-money.org.uk to see what other support and resources are available or email our Financial Education Advisory Service: advisoryservice@y-e.org.uk.
