About this event

Haitian Folkloric Dance with Latisha Cesar

Join me for a chance to enjoy the infectious rhythms and uplifting movement of a tiny nation that literally took on the world in pursuit of justice.

We will be learning Ibo (the dance of freedom) and Rara (the party/ carnival dance). No special equipment or experience is necessary. Just come ready to dance the winter blues away and have a good time.

About Latisha

Latisha is a Haitian American dancer, originally from Brooklyn NY but has been spreading her cheer in Bristol since 2014. Her dance company Saias Liberdade is based in St Pauls but she enjoys taking walks down Stapleton Road to pick up the vibe when she misses Brooklyn.
