About Light Rain (for Light Up Lancaster)
Pop on those ponchos and join us as we prepare to play in the digital rain for this year’s Light Up Lancaster. Combining movement, projection and sound, Light Rain will be a playfully mischievous piece performed by an intergenerational cast of local performers.
Light Rain is a collaboration between Ludus Dance and light artist Andy McKeown and has been specifically commissioned for Light Up Lancaster 2016.
About this open workshop (for October First Friday)
Mosey along to this open creative session at Ludus Dance to explore Light Rain and your own imagination. No previous dance experience is required. Our creative Director, Anthony Briggs, will help you learn some of the movement from the Light Rain piece, after which you can take part in an improvisation jam (this bit is optional!).
If you like what you see, there is also the potential for you to join us and perform in the piece on Friday 4th November at Light Up Lancaster!
This open workshop is part of the Ludus Dance Social's series of events.
