What will the course offer?

First hand experience of puppetry by renowned master puppet designers and makers, chance to work in an exciting and progressive Arts organisation based in one of the towns of Stoke-On-Trent, to work with other like minded creative individuals and to be a part of creating two giant lantern puppets.

Is accommodation provided?

Whilst accommodation is not provided we could we recommend The Premier Inn, Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent located a short drive from Longton. Approximately a 15 minute drive.

Are refreshments provided?

Accepted Answer

Refreshments including tea, coffee and snacks will be available throughout the course, lunch will not be provided but an end of the workshop meal will be included.

Question 4

Do I need to have experience to be involved in the masterclass?

This course is designed for artists with some relevant experience in theatre making, design, prop making, carnival production.

Transport and parking?

Stoke Station is approximately a 15 minute drive from Longton Town Centre

Parking is available for free (no time limit) at Tesco - Baths Rd Longton, Stoke-On-Trent ST3 2JB which is approximately a 5 minute walk

A small number of  are discounted spaces able for local artists and artists from the Global Majority.
