What Will We Do?
Our subject for this two hour workshop will be lighthouses. We will use a layering technique with tissue paper to create beautiful landscape images on canvas.
This is a fun and relaxed class, suitable both beginners and experienced crafters.
This workshop is part of a series of free creative classes, aiming to promote positive wellbeing and connection with others.
Workshop Information
- The class is free and all materials are provided.
- This course is suitable for all skill levels, so no experience is required.
- The Creative Steps Programme is based at Gallery 966 in Govan. We use creative participation to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
- This workshop is open to adults living within the Glasgow area. Classes are aimed at individuals looking to improve their wellbeing and connect with others.
This project is funded by the NHSGGC Healthy Minds Network Anti-Stigma Fund.
Attending the Group
Doors will open 5 minutes before the class start time, so please do not arrive too early.
Please note that safety measures are in place for our in-person groups. When in the building, please wear a face mask if you can, maintain a 1m distance from others and follow the guidance from staff. We will provide you with a workspace and ensure that areas are cleaned and well ventilated.
Places are limited due to the restrictions on the numbers we can have in the building at one time, so please let us know if you are no longer able to attend this class.
