Lightning Talks at The London Archives - IN PERSON

Lightning Talks at The London Archives - IN PERSON

By The London Archives

Overview

Are you a student or Early Career Researcher? Need feedback on in-progress research? Can you summarise your research in 5 minutes or less?

Join us for an evening of Lightning Talks at The London Archives - a fast-paced and friendly event where students and early career researchers can share their work on the history of London and its people.

Each speaker will have just 5 minutes to present their research (or an aspect of their research), followed by time for questions and discussion. Whether you're exploring medieval manuscripts, 20th-century housing, or anything in between, this is a great opportunity to connect with others working on London-focused topics.

Event Schedule:

5.00 - 5.20pm | Arrival & Coffee: Meet fellow researchers over a hot drink

5.20 - 5.30pm | Welcome & Introduction

5.30 - 5.35pm | Lightning Talks (Round 1): 5 speakers + Q&A

5.35 - 5.45pm | Break

5.45 - 6.20pm | Lightning Talks (Round 2): 5 speakers + Q&A

6.30pm | Event Ends (the building is open to 7pm so feel free to stay and chat!)
