Returning to Scotland in 2017, the annual LILIS (Livestock In Low Input Systems) conference will look at the successes and challenges of livestock production in organic, upland and similar low-input systems. The theme for 2017 is plant diversity, and how things like inter-cropping and companion planting on a field scale can maximise productive capacity from grasslands. The conference will be held on farm and your ticket will include a long lunch with plenty of time to chat.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Lower Mill of Tynet is 90 minutes drive from either Aberdeen or Inverness airports.

Driving by car, the farm is 300m north of the The Mill House Hotel on the A98, and will be signposted.

There will be parking in a field at the farm.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

In case of inclement weather, please bring appropriate outdoor clothing including waterproofs and sturdy boots/wellies.

Lower Mill of Tynet is a poultry farm so we will be observing strict biosecurity protocols.

Cancellations within 7 days will be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will not be given for cancellations after the 9th June 2017.
