Event description

Description

Neil Grieve and Roz Artist from the Scottish Lime Centre Trust will be joing us on Tuesday 9th May, Dalhousie LT1 from 4-5pm to discuss Lime Mortars in Traditional Buildings. Lime mortars in traditional buildings are eminently the most sustainable materials as they are able to afford weather proofing properties because of their high vapour permeable properties (helping to keep a building dry), allow for the adaptive re-use of building components without waste and provide some of the most beautiful finishes for buildings. They also have relevance to new build projects where their ‘green’ credentials and aesthetics are appreciated over cement work. Please register if you would like to attend this talk.
