Lincoln‘s Black History

From African Roman Emperor Septimius Severus to the Caribbean RAF veterans who resided in Lincoln during World War 2, Black people have been part of the everyday fabric of the city for eons with some making extraordinary contributions to the area. Based on their ongoing research, Professor Heather Hughes and Dr Victoria Araj will provide further insights to the hidden lives of Lincoln and Lincolnshire’s Black community.
