After a successful pop up at the Old nundhead pub linda's journey is coming to space@61 in a thanksgiving spirit.lets celebrate with a five course (veg options available) dinner menu.the cuisine is Goan- indian with freshly baked sliders ,free range meats and a amazing gluten free dessert.At this event we are going to play jazz music and meet new people and promote a cuisine which is only limited to a vindalho.Goan cuisine has many infuences and rich history to it. Vinegar spices,coconut,breads,grilled meats ,pork choriso and seafood are associated with this heart.

Linda’s journey started 15 years ago in Goa –India .she started with her cooking career with her local cuisine in a star hotel followed by travels to Dubai, Bermuda, and London. She has trained under Michelin star chefs, banqueting, and high volume restaurants. Linda as a chef loves to cook simple hearty and honest food. Respect for the produce, culture, history, cooking techniques and most importantly love of food are the skills she uses for her cooking. She takes inspiration from her mentors, family ,friends and the travels she takes for new ideas.

In her supper clubs happening on the 23 rd. and 30 th November linda is cooking a thanksgiving dinner menu based on hearty Goan cuisine. Goan cuisine is bold flavours with lots of vinegar, spices, and breads. There is grilled meats, seafood and coconut based curries which are a balance of hot and sour. Her cuisine is influenced by colonial traders and coastal weather of south west India and abundance of seasonal produce, so for this supper clubs Linda is using local free range meats and fish,the creamy pumpkin stew is something to look forward to. The desserts are simple and usually gluten free ( famous brandy crème caramel). Based in London Linda’s journey has done a few pop ups, supper clubs and cooking classes. She is supported by her husband (chef too) in her journey.
