About this event

Mental Health Adviser Workshops brings you an exclusive online workshop for line managers, led by Jodie Hill, founder & managing partner at Thrive Law, employment law, HR, D&I and leadership specialist and mental health advocate.

Join us for our next Workshop: Line Manager Training – Common Mental Health Conditions in the UK Workforce taking place on Wednesday 14 September 2022. Secure your place now for only £60 + VAT, or take advantage of our group booking discount.

According to the latest Health and Safety Executive statistics, 0.8 million workers suffered from work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2021/20. However, these figures don’t tell the whole tale. There are many other specific mental health conditions that could affect your workforce – each with their own set of symptoms, and each requiring a different response from line managers.

Understanding how specific conditions affect individuals is the first step to being able to provide the right support to help ensure the person’s condition does not become worse.

During this workshop, managers will gain a good understanding of the most common mental health conditions likely to affect individuals in their teams.

Hosted by Jodie Hill, founder and Managing Partner of multi-award winning Thrive Law, this 60-minute workshop is intended to support line managers in the following:

  • Outlining the most common mental health conditions in the UK workforce, such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and PTSD.
  • Understanding how each condition presents and how it generally affects an individual.
  • Practical tips to best approach and support an employee, given their specific condition.

Plus, the opportunity to have all your questions answered. Do you already have a question about a specific mental health condition? You can send your questions to us in advance to guarantee they get put to Jodie - simply send us an email using the contact details provided when you buy a ticket.
