Event description

Description

As part of our Making Places project ‘Linear Park: Plot Lines’ we are investigating the history of the houses that were previously on the site of the park (159 – 307 Grove Green Road), and others nearby that were demolished around the same time (Claremont Road, Fillebrook Road, Coleville Road).

We are looking for volunteers to help research these houses and the people who lived in them over the years. If you take part you will gain experience in researching house histories and receive an induction into using the resources at Vestry House Museum, which you can also use to research other houses you are interested in.

The workshop is free but places are limited.
