Join our expert staff on an in-depth, behind-the-scenes tour of our unique home at Burlington House in central London.
Learn more about the Linnean Society — birthplace of the theory of evolution — and venture into our bombproof underground strongroom where the priceless library, archive, and biological specimen collections of Carl Linnaeus, the “father of taxonomy”, are securely stored.
Finally, travel up the grand staircase to the magnificent library — a haven of peace amongst the teeming shoppers of the West End — and enjoy a display of treasured items from the Society’s collections.
This is an in-person event, and will last for 90 minutes.
