Lino Printing with Jayne Blacklock

An afternoon of lino printing with professional artist, Jayne Blacklock. The workshop is for beginners or those wishing to improve their skills. Linocut is a relief print making technique where a design is carved into a sheet of linoleum and then printed onto paper. You will have the opportunity to create your own, individual linocut artwork in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment with tuition to help along the way. We will look at planning and preparing the linocut from a range of stimuli, best ways to cut the tile and then experiment with a range of papers and techniques to achieve different prints. Old clothes or aprons are recommended!
