I'm excited to offer this relaxed and fun lino-printing workshop at Leafy Bean Coffee & Cocktail Bar in Bowes Park.
This workshop is open to total beginners and also to people who would like to develop their lino-printing skills.
Over the two hours we have together, I'll take you through the lino-printing process from start to finish. We'll begin with a few warm-up drawing skills, leading into some linocutting techniques and a demonstration on how to transfer your design onto a lino-block. During the second part of the workshop, you'll learn how to carve your design and finally how to make a print!
I'll be suggesting further printmaking techniques for those who have done lino-printing before; these will include making a reduction print and collagraphy.
This session will be open for up to 8 people, thus providing a friendly atmosphere, where guidance and support can take place.
The price will include a cocktail, all resources, plus you'll get to take your print and lino block home!
I'm really looking forward to bringing a group of people together to make prints.
If you have access requirements you would like me to know about before the workshop, please email Gemma by May 18th at wildwaterartstore@gmail.com.
