Linocut Printmaking with Lydia

Learn the basics of linocut. With a range of botanical materials to inspire you, Lydia will guide you through the process of carving your design, inking up and printing. You can experiment with a range of different colours and papers to make a collection of prints to take home!

14 or older. Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adultMaterials, equipment and refreshments included. Please bring and apron or wear old clothes that you don't mind getting messy.

This event is part of Tender Meadows: The Field Shelter Summer Arts Programme, and has been subsidised by a generous grant from the Haltwhistle Shops Fund.

Thanks to the Fund, we also have two tickets per workshop available free of charge. these are aimed at those wanting to take part but facing financial barriers to doing so. If you would like to enquire about a free ticket, please email fieldshelter.arts@gmail.com and tell us which workshop(s) you'd like to attend. You will need to be a resident of haltwhistle or one of its surrounding parishes. We will not ask for proof of address or income, so please be honest. These free tickets are given out on a first-come-first-served basis.
