Lipids and Cardiovascular Health, Cheshire & Merseyside CPD ONLY

Course Outline;

• An informative online session that delves into the world of lipids and their importance in primary care. The expert speaker will cover a range of topics related to lipids, including their role in overall health and common issues seen in primary care settings.

Course content/learning outcomes

• Lipid fractions - what are they and what do they mean?
• Primary and secondary prevention of CVD through effective lipid management
• Familial hypercholesterolaemia
• Targets: UK and international guidance
• Which lipid-lowering therapy when and why

THIS TRAINING IS FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR CPD WHITHIN CHESHIRE & MERSEYSIDE PRIMARY CARE TEAMS ONLY.

You will be required to give details of your NMC number and Practice/PCN name.

The following Primary Care staff are eligible for CPD funding: All registered Nurses , Midwives , Art Therapists , Drama therapists , Music therapists , Chiropodists/podiatrists , Dietitians, Occupational therapists , Operating Department Practitioners , Orthoptists , Osteopaths , Paramedics , Physiotherapists , Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiographers , Speech and language therapists.

Will be free to book and attend but the cost (£48) will be taken out of your £333 CPD Allowance for this year. Charges for inappropriate roles will apply.
